LTD’s Kids Take the Stage Fall 2023 will begin on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, after school in the West Elementary School auditorium.  The program is open to all students in grades Third -Fifth.  Home school students are also welcome, and students do not have to be West Elementary School students to participate.   The program teaches students about proper conduct in presenting a play.  Students will learn theater terms and how to present themselves both physically and vocally on the stage.  The program also prepares students in presenting themselves in public and how to audition for parts.

The students will be working on two musical plays, “Alice’s Adventures with Idioms” and “Pirates From Grammar Island”.   These plays are being presented with permission through Bad Wolf Press who create plays for students based on core curriculum.  Not only do the students have fun working on and presenting the plays, but it is a fun learning experience as well.  Times and dates for the sessions are listed below.  All dates are Wednesdays except for the final week of the program.  On early out days the program will run from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.  On regular out days from 3:30 PM – 5 PM.
